New Ostendo Build Available to Address MYOB Cloud Setup Problem

We were advised recently that sites running MYOB AR Live Cloud were unable to run the Setup from within the GL Settings screen for new or existing MYOB AR Live Cloud connections. The screen below would be displayed during the setup process.

We determined that MYOB had changed (without notice) their Authentication routine in the background. We immediately advised MYOB of this problem. Unfortunately there has been no forthcoming resolution from them. Therefore we have managed to amend our process to workaround this problem until they resolve it from their side. This has resulted in a new Ostendo executable file (Build 262) which will enable the Setup to be run successfully.

We suggest all sites integrating with MYOB AR Live Cloud load this new Build 262 to ensure the GL Settings Setup can be run without problem. Existing connections have remained connected and are posting as they should, however this new Build should be loaded in case the GL Setting record requires re-instatement at any point in the future.

Once MYOB resolve this issue from their side, this Setup process will still work without the requirement for further Ostendo executable Builds to workaround this problem.

Ostendo Update 242 Download: (Build 262): (This will also replace the current executable with Build 262 for sites who have already applied Update 242)
In this Update to 242, there are two files over and above to the ostendo.exe file added into the Ostendo folder, therefore it is recommended that this Update be run on all existing 242 sites unless these are already present.

• "WebView2Loader_x86.dll" used by Employee Locations
• "ostendoapi.exe" (Build 439) which updates the API (Ensure this is manually copied to any other Ostendo API instances you may have running)
