Why does the Number of Batches Received from Accounting Link not tally with the Number of Batches Sent?

Why does the Number of Batches Received from Accounting Link not tally with the Number of Batches Sent?

In the Accounting Link Output screen File -> Accounting Link

If you find the 'Number of Batches Received' count does not tally with the number of batch files previously sent or is consistently incorrect, it is because there are other '.dat' files in the AccLink_'Ostendo Database ID Name'\Processed folder that should not be there. 

For example, someone has copied a .dat file into this folder by mistake. The Number of Batches Received field is simply a count of the number of .dat files within this folder.

Ensure only valid files remain in this folder at any one time.
