Unable to download Latest Link Program from Development-x Website
We have come across a situation where if you are using Google Chrome Browser and you try to download a file that is a different version than that you may have previously downloaded, Chrome will re-download the previous version again. This only occurs if the new file is of the same filename as the previous file you downloaded. The reason this occurs appears to to with Chrome, which stores the previous file in Cache in your browser.
The way to fix this, is to launch Chrome and go to the settings section and select 'Under The Bonnet'. then press 'Clear Browsing data' button.
Ensure 'Obliterate the following items from' setting is set to a relevant setting and ensure that the 'Empty The Cache' option is ticked and press 'Clear Browsing Data' button.
Close down Chrome and restart. You should now be able to download the new version of the link file.
