The email recipient is finding that the pdf attachment is being stripped from the email
If the recipient is using Microsoft Outlook then go to File>System Configuration>System Settings and click on the 'Environment Settings' tab. In that screen select 'Outlook' as the Email Client
If the recipient is not using Microsoft Outlook then go to File>System Configuration>System Settings and click on the 'Environment Settings' tab. In that screen select 'Other' as the Email Client along with the email Prefix
If that doesn't work then the recipients Anti-Virus software is stripping out the attachment. In this instance set up an ftp link via File>Reporting Configuration>Email-ftp Link. This will send the email with a download link reference from which the recipient can download the Attachment
