Running Multiple Instances Of Firebird
On occasions, Ostendo and Firebird 2.5 will need to be installed on a server where Firebird is already running for another software application eg: NAB Banking Software or TerraLink
In order to allow Firebird to run under multiple instances, there needs to be some cutomisation to the installation of Firebird. Please refer the attached instructions to configure firebird.
NB: It is advisable that you work with an experienced IT person when doing this.
