The F4 function Key in Ostendo automatically inserts a date and timestamp along with the UserName all enclosed in Square Brackets. Unfortunatley sometimes when reports are generated with this data contained, throw an error message

This has been caused because the F4 function enclosed the date / timestamp information in Square Brackets. To quickly get around thie messsage, simply change the data in the relevant Notes Field that is causing this from Square Brackets to Round Brackets. eg: Job Notes, Sales Notes etc..
As a more widespred, fix to this, run the Attached Script on the database, selecting the Note fields of the relevant tables you want to change. This script will change the Square Brackets to Round Brackets.
NB: The F4 key has been amended to use Round Brackets in Update 231
