Downloads Links to these Updates are as follows:
Ostendo Update 242 Download: (Build 278): (This will also replace the current executable with Build 278 for sites who have already applied Update 242) In this Update to 242, there are two files over and above to the ostendo.exe file added into the Ostendo folder, therefore it is recommended that this Update be run on all existing 242 sites unless these are already present.

- "ostendoapi.exe" (Build 439) which updates the API (Ensure this is manually copied to any other Ostendo API instances you may have running)
Ostendo Full Install (Build 278): http://www.ostendo.info/downloads/ostendo/ostinstall.exe
Ostendo EXE Only (Build 278): (This is only required for sites simply wishing to manually swap out the current Update 242 executable) (Refer note above relating to new files. These are not included in this download) http://www.ostendo.info/downloads/ostendo/ostendo_242_278.zip
Determining The Current Build Build Number You are able to determine the current build of the ostendo.exe or datascreens.exe being used by one of two methods:- Log onto Ostendo (ensuring you are running either the ostendo.exe or datascreens.exe from the icon) and go to Help->About
- From Windows File Explorer navigate to the ostendo.exe or datascreens.exe file
- Right click and select properties.
- Click on the Details tab
Instructions for manually swapping out the EXE This process can be performed whilst users are logged into Ostendo. It should be noted that those users that remain logged into Ostendo will still be running the previous executable, therefore you should ensure ultimately all users should log off Ostendo at close of business at the site so when they re-log back in, they will automatically run the new executable.- Download the ZIP file
- Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a temporary folder on the server. The location of this folder must 'NOT' be the Ostendo folder.
- Right click on the ostendo.exe file and select 'properties'
- From the Properties->General tab press the 'Unblock' option if it is shown, then press the 'Apply' button
- Within the Ostendo folder rename the existing "ostendo.exe" to "ostendo build xxx..exe" (where xxx is the build number of that exe)
- Move the ostendo.exe from the temporary folder to the Ostendo folder
- From this point on, anyone logging into Ostendo will run this new build.
Datascreens: There is also an executable file in the Ostendo folder named "datascreens.exe" This is a renamed version of the "ostendo.exe" file. This should also be updated with the new build.- Make a copy of the "ostendo.exe" in the Ostendo folder
- Rename the current "datascreens.exe" to "datascreens Build XXX.exe" (where xxx is the build number of that exe)
- Rename the "ostendo.exe copy.exe" to "datascreens.exe"
- From this point on, anyone logging into Ostendo using the "datascreens.exe" will run this new build.
